    I was pretty well slammed on another list for my opinion on taking a minimum
    of several weeks training and condensing it into a few hours of
    entertainment; not to mention that it was a competition between the
    trainers.  I don't see that type of thing as being in the horse's best
    interest.   *regardless* of *who* the trainers are.
    
    The reports I read after the show seemed to indicate that they had,
    basically, no problems taking a 2yo from halter breaking to starting under
    saddle, including side passing, loping, roping and dragging stuff with 2.5
    hours training...
    
    guess I'm just a hard-nose, but I'm still not impressed.
