I'm curious - in the "olden days" when a very high percentage of the
population rode horses and other equines on a daily basis and also carried
weapons on their belts, didn't people fall off horses? Wouldn't they have
fallen on weapons then? I have never heard of this being a big issue, or
maybe nowadays we're all becoming big wimps. Maybe if we all carried our
weapons low on the hip like gunslingers of yore, we'd not have so may
worries - about people messing with us *or* about falling on top of weapons
and getting seriously hurt.
Take this as tongue in cheek or not, as you choose!
