[RC] WNV Shots - Roger Rittenhouse
According to two vet clinics here my old vet and now my new one. They
MUST control the shots - that is Ft Dodge wants to know where it is
being used how many horses have it etc sort a control policy to be
able to plot the coverage of their vaccine.
My new vet said she would give me the shots - I take 7 - with the S/N
assigned to a specific horse. Both vets who gave the WNV did that - they
wrote down the name of the horses along with the numbers from the vial.
She does not have to come out to give the shot just trust me - she
does- to give the correct numbered shot to the assigned horse.
So to respond to Heidi - Yes Ft Dodge does want control.
I just gave the 6 month booster shot - we have tons of mosquitos,
nothing much I can really do for now. Going to add mosquito fish to
the pond, we dump all water try to keep from pools but there are too
places all over the 25 ac pasture I cannot control
I have though about those CO2 traps that burn propane.. how is that as a
good eco thing?? Oh for the good old days of DDT . JOKING for you
eco folks

Please note the major problem in Louisiana now - going to many sick
