I really have to agree...and add something about the ngative posts.
I started reading RC last Dec, knowing I would do my first ride this year.
I have learned A LOT from this list and want to thank everyone who has taken
the time to write me. I also want to thank many of the vendors who have
helped me..patiently putting up with my newbieness!
I completed my first ride, though I was apprehensive about what the people
would be like. I wasn't sure what to expect, expecially after reading about
the Malibu ride. I figured I'd just try and blend in (which is hard when your
mount is a pony!) I was VERY pleasently surprised how great the people
were...friendly, helpful and very caring to their horses. Saw no difference
between LD'rs and 50 milers...we were all treated the same.
Anyway...thanks all. I learn something from most of the posts...like what to
do...or not do ;-p
