I hope not Truman, otherwise I cheated at Leatherwood. I had a good story to tell about that ride but if you remember, Howard's (aka panty man) story went on FOREVER! I forgot it now.

Anyway, I rode with a guy on a palomino, TWH stallion for most of the 25 mile ride. I was scared in them there mountains and Loony Lance could have gone over the edge at anytime.

I can't remember his name but he was the sweeper for this ride and was very sweet. All thorough our ride he gave me the history of the Leatherwood mountains, telling about all the families that lived there. His stallion was 5 years old and never even flicked an ear when Lance laid his chin on the boy's butt. He really helped Lance pick his way among the rocks.

That was one of the best rides I have ever had. I was way over time, as panty man pointed out in one of our "discussions", so I guess I wasn't cheating. Even though he set the pace, it was real damn leisurely.

No pacing, no racing, no gossiping, no cussing and for goodness sakes, no tattle-tailing. Geez! What CAN we do? What WILL we write about?

You can't get ahead of anybody you're tryin' to get even with.
