Re: [RC] Tevis - Steven Proe
Hi Folks: I too observed these riders, you are correct, it was a man and a
lady. I noted to myself that I was happy that they were on very tall horse.
This because sometimes smaller horses and riders can not reach the many
things which should be trimmed. It's something like it doesn't matter how
heavy you and or your horse are especially on Tevis and other long distance
riders weight does not influence the ride or if you run with your horse for
any extended distances.

| The same thing happened at Foresthill and everybody clapped and took
pictures. Then they held up pruners and said they were just clearing trail.
I thought that was kind of strange since I figured ride management would
have already done that. And then I figured that was cool that they were so
concerned about making sure branches weren't in the way.

| That's right. I did see those people come up the road but had no idea
where they had come from because I was near the top of the road and they
could have come from anywhere. They were on two grey horses and I think a
man and a woman. That is an interesting concept.
