Re: [RC] Ground Control shoes over time - sharp penny
Maggie,
How long have these people been using GC shoes and how
many miles? I have heard the shoes don't cause problems for
the casual low milage trail rider. It's those folks that
are putting many miles on their horses that are haveing the
hoof wall breakage over time.
As for actual preformance...all of the people mentioned
in my original post loved the shoes and stated that they
didn't slip any more than regular steel shoes on wet grass.
Everyone that is experiencing problems really wanted these
shoes to work out. In fact Ken Wolgram is featured in the
GC ads and even has a testimonal on the web site for GC
shoes.
My farrier is coming tomorrow so I've got to make up my
mind soon.
Thanks,
Penny
