Ridecamp: [RC] NEWS re: nail in hoof

Yesterday afternoon, while checking the hoof, I almost poked my finger
thru the center of his heel bulb. That's where the infection decided to 
make its escape.

Have been soaking and flushing and wrapping and after only 24 hours he's
showing great improvement. Still giving him penicillin and soaking, etc., 
twice
a day until he looks like his old self.

Thanks for all the great advice, stories and words of encouragement!!!
It was nice to know we weren't alone in all of it.
