The toughest horse on our farm is Lily. She was given to me many years ago
and, at 17, is still the only horse I count on to stay sound.
My Saddlebred is a dream to ride as long as she remembers where she left her
brain..........she was a gimme, too.
And of course, Lucky. He was a lot of work, but he was worth it. He is such
a sweetie. Some of you may remember that he was the preemie whose mama died
and I raised him in the laundry room. Yes, he is housebroken.
Not all freebies work out, but at least you aren't out as much as if you had
paid a fortune to buy a "best seller" and it turned out poorly.
