The owner used to ride with me. Ladd is an awesome horse. I wish I had
money!!! He carried a heavyweight rider on many, many LD and CTR's and did
well. I think the only reason he never went the longer distances was because
Bruce was sponsoring his daughter and her horse had no enthusiasm for long
rides. He definitely could have done it all. Ladd was originally purchased
(I believe) from Robby Doll.
