[RC] ET/ Market Saturation - Ridecamp Guest

It has been my observation that the people who have "money to burn" and could afford to do ET can also afford to LOSE money. The minute circumstances change, or they get bored the horses get dumped. I have seen some incredible breeding go through the killer sale. I was busy talking at a sale a few years ago and didn't get a bid in while a Gai Parada daughter slipped through to the killer buyer. No, he wouldn't sell her back to me after the sale. (Wasn't his stud fee $10,000) I did mangage to purchase the next horse- from Ventura farms by Magic VF out of a Bask daughter. Not my kind of breeding, but I do remember when those horses were selling at fancy auctions for big money. I also ended up having a Toi Soldier daughter given to me. The stud fees alone on these horses had to cost a fortune, but when they weren't wanted anymore, it didn't matter. Kudos to all who pick up these "last chance" horses at the auctions.
