    [RC] Riding at Night - Joan Dowis

    I just read the post about using fluorescent lamps on the horse.  This works
great, but on Tevis, we have to cross the American River at night.  The last
time I rode, we swam for about 3 horse lengths through a deep spot right off
the bank.  I don't think fluorescent lights can take the water, which
doesn't bother glowsticks.
