I agree with this and terrain is a biggie in the equation.
My major concern with the plastic shoes is the slippage on
wet grass and I can't remember how often we come across wet
grass. Will be interesting to see how these work for Reno.
When we rode on very steep hills with 90% rocks in Ok. he
had a hard time getting traction with the steel shoes and a
lot of this has to do with the way he travels and how tired
he was.
