----- Jen, if you are looking to do endurance
riding, then why are you not including endurance saddles? That doesn't make
sense to me. The Aussie would be your best choice of the three for endurance,
but then again, they are usually heavier, and they are quite spendy. My Tucker
Endurance was only $1169 brand new. I love that saddle. And it only weighs 23
lbs. which is still getting in the heavy bracket when you figure some saddles
only weigh 19 lbs.
What do you
mean by "lack of selection" boy I never heard that one. There are more darned
endurance saddles to make you confused than you can imagine. Also, go to eBay
and check out used saddles on there. They have tons of them.

Ok, please allow me to post a small web poll her about saddles. I hope this
doesn't start an argument amongst all of you. I know everyone has a right to
their opinion, but I would like as much feed back as I can. For me, who owns
NO tack at this present time, I would like to know which type of saddle you
would reccomend.

I have heard a resounding NO as far as western saddles go so I'm looking more at aussies? I'm
not going to include endurance saddles in this poll because of the lack of
selection and varied prices in these types.
Let 'em rip kids....
