corn oil?? Keeping horses in FL., is not the same as anywhere else is it !!  Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to find a real FL. Cracker pony (LOL)!!

Hose him off very well after you ride. A full bath may be over kill. Corn oil, vegie oil works just fine. Mineral oil goes through them vegie based oil should not.
Also down there there is the every present issue of fungus in the base of the tail and mane. Then there are the insects.
