Re: [RC] riding w/music - Ridecamp Guest

The very first stable I rode at was a dressage stable run by Tom and Mike Poulin (dressage junkies out there might know those
names), and they used music in their dressage classes, which
I found to be very useful, especially in learning how to put a
horse into an extended trot: having a rythm to match the horses
gait to helped get a steady gait.
I do not currently ride with music, mostly because I can't
stand wearing headphones - the 'music-in-the-center-of-my-brain'
effect makes me claustrophobic. That and I have too much gear
to schlepp to the stable as it is! If I ever do get to do an
endurance ride, I'd probably take some tunes, just to eleviate
the tedium (though I have yet to get bored on the trail: in a ring, yes; on the trail, never!)
