[RC] Horse won't eat beet pulp - Sundaez
Hi all...
One of my Icelandic horses will not eat beet pulp. He nibbles at it then
flings it out of his mouth. We've been trying after every ride to give him
some (about every other day for a month or so) but he is just getting so he
won't even sample it. I've tried mixing grain in with it.
Any suggestions what to mix in it to get him to eat it? If he won't...is
there an alternative to feed?
BTW Icelandic horses come to the US without ever having eating carrots or
apples...they have to learn to eat those too. I have one that refuses carrots
still after a year. Their idea of a treat is bread.
