from what I have read, It seems to me that (perhaps) what you practice, and
what you are teaching your students to be normal and acceptable competitive
skills are not the same as what other people consider to be socially
acceptable on the endurance trail.   It sounds like you have a lot to offer,
but it also sounds like there are a couple of areas where you need to step
back and take a closer look.  If your online ride record is correct, you
have only been riding LD for a few years; I suspect you have a background in
other(s) equine sports, that doesn't have the consideration and camaraderie
on the trail that you generally find in endurance.
