    This particular map illustrates infected birds found (not the # of equine WNV cases treated.)
    And the results are specfically from test samples (dead birds) submitted.  Not from testing blood from infected equines. 
    So possibly there may not have been specific test samples of infected dead birds submitted from your area, Truman?
    Birds were only submitted from areas that are colored blue/green on the map.  If infected dead birds were found in those areas, then the color is red.
