How do you work a horse like this then ?He would
need to stay on a fast canter to work him between 120-150.Even at this low heart
rate he was more tired towards the end of the ride then my Icelandic with double
the heart-rate.She is half his size.I am confused.

Maybe he's in better shape than you think!! Also, the fact that he's done
police work might be part of the answer. He's just plain the easy-going, don't
get excited about much of anything kind of personality.
