    This is such a problem. I live in California--which is a sue crazy state. We 
    have no "equine liability law" to protect us here. Many times I get friends 
    of friends wanting to have a ride on one of my  gentle horses, or the 
    neighbor boy wanting to learn to ride but I am just too afraid of being sued 
    should anything happen. I've also been approached to give riding lessons, or 
    board a horse.
    
    I even hate selling a horse because of liability. How do you guys in Calif. 
    protect yourself?
