Okay, so let's for starters admit that I know squat diddly about endurance,
so you may delete this post with no further ado...

Isn't this about image?  Equestrian sports are becoming the focus of quite a
bit of public attention (maybe since the Christopher Reeve thing?).  Seems
to me that this is less about legal issues than about PR.

Kinda like FEI toying with the idea of banning flat seat saddles for the XC
phase.....too many falls.
