Do you usually ride alone on training rides? My horse acts like that when I
ride alone. When I ride with even one other person she shows all SORTS of
interest. I, too, have been fooled into thinking my mare was tired when
riding alone. Also, might try some different trails if you have that option.
My mare acts more interested if we are going somewhere she hasn't been in a
