As long as the quality is good, good stuff. I used to think it was nothing
more than bedding and a fiber source, but I'd never seen "good" wheat hay,
just basically really ugly straw. Lari Shea told me some years back it's
what she fed her guys the year she won Tevis....not that it was solely
responsible for the win, but obviously didn't stand in the way, either.

I have an opportunity to get some wheat/oat mix hay that is mostly wheat.
It is clean and smells wonderful, but I have never fed wheat.....This would
be in addition to grass hay, rye-grass/clover mix hay, oat hay and
alfalfa.....any opinions on feeding horses wheat hay?
