I think that might depend on the manufacturer. I have one friend who tows a
three horse (generally with 2 horses aboard plus hay and water) without any
difficulty with a class C. This is built on a Ford chassis. But I don't have
a clue of the actual specs. One other thing to be conscious of is the
feasibility of attaching the hitch. Some have long overhangs without much
frame making hitch installation of suitable (towing capacity) hitch
difficult.
