Same thing happened to me... hooked up my trailer to pickup a new mattress.
Terrible bounce. We check and checked everything we could think of on the
trailer for days. Then while walking by the rig, noticed a bulge on the
truck tire. Truck tire had failed, wasn't the trailer after all, just a
coincidence that it was hooked up when the problem started.
