    Yes, there is a towing package in this truck, plus being the HD (heavy duty)
    model and 4X4 it should have suspension sufficient for this trailer. But it
    does feel bouncy. Since this is my first gooseneck I don't know if this is
    typical or not. I did add  extra leafs to the springs on my old F250 when I
    got a heavier bumper pull and it made all the difference for that setup.
    Anyway, the Chevy truck drops very little when the trailer is lowered onto
    the hitch, appears to be sitting level, front to back, but is bouncy.

    Just out of curiosity, do you have a "towing package" on the truck?
    (Gets you a different suspension and shocks, cooling etc.)
