Just my "take" on it--but what FEI does and the fact that a few vocal people
make "noise" is not sufficient reason to consider altering a rule that is in
place for the benefit of the horses.  The rationale of the AERC substance
rule is still valid--make the horse well, and THEN come back to
competition--it is in the horse's best interest to be truly healed before he
is asked to compete.
