Melody, please don't put a negative twist on this auction.   The auction 
was held at that time because the barn had been paying for the feed - they 
are obligated by CA livestock law to feed those horses even if the owner 
won't pay them for the feed and so wanted to sell the horses ASAP so they 
didn't have to keep feeding them out of their own pocket.

Mr Salazar was acting on behalf of barn, not for himself, in withholding 
some of the horses (this was the legal right of the barn) and I was told by 
one of the auction organizers that the money for selling these horses will 
be going to the barn, not into Mr Salazar's pocket.

If you need to contact my friend who helped organize the auction, contact 
me privately and I will arrange for you to get copies of the horses names, 
if they are known.
