On the beet pulp question. My almost yearling was started on soaked beet
pulp mixed with grain. He ate right along with mom. In fact, he liked the
beet pulp better than the grain..... He's now getting free choice oat hay
until the pasture grows up (it really will some time - I hope! It's still
14 degrees and white outside.) He's not getting grain right now, because
he's in a pasture with other horses, and they would get it first. As far as
breeding, he's all Arab, 1/2 Russian (sire) and his dam is line bred to Abu
Farwa. I consider that endurance breeding.
