A wood burning kit is great. You can just melt right through. It's also
good for labeling leather items...I used to put initials on saddle bags
(in my past life) and even sign the skirt of my saddle underneath to
irritate thieves. It's the best thing around for making those big holes
you need for western stirrup leathers.
