Bareback Pads

Does anyone ride endurance (50 mi) in a bareback pad?  Any ideas on any good 
ones.  I would suppose you need them to have stirrups unless your horse is 
very smooth which mine is not.  I am looking at one from freedomrider.com or 
a few others.  I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
