Survey: Riding mares

My husband, Bobby, is riding a mare, Jezireh, and has now completed 400 miles at his first year of doing 50s. She is very competitive and has tons of gusto. She is a sweet horse and wonderful broodmare.  This past weekend she was in heat at a ride and rode a good portion of the ride with a stallion. According to Bobby both got along extremely well, both mare and stallion were all business on the trail. Jezireh is very focused when she is out on a ride, very little distracts her from the job at hand.
