Great news!! For what it's worth, I also had my left knee meniscus repaired
two years ago. I went right into physical therapy...in three days I was off
crutches and in 11 days the surgeon said I could do anything I felt like doing
...skiing, horseback riding, sex, etc. I thought the SEX was a great idea but
couldn't interest anyone else >g<.
I could feel a rough spot (scar tissue) for about a year when descending
steep stairs, but it gradually went away.
I thought that cartilage and meniscus were the same thing??
