So me thinks that we are seeing an example of a "closet yankee" here.
And yep when Randy Johnson came back in the last game after throwing 103 pitches the previous day and finished the Yankees off - now that was a display of athletic ability and pure grit. What a series - best one I've seen since 1979 when the Orioles blew a 3-1 lead to the Pirates.
