Hi Judy:
I use an S hack on Rocky. It works great on him. The weight of the thing
seems to work really well with him and I've never had a problem controlling
him (you might call him a very forward type of horse <g>). This works
better on him than a vosal.
I put a piece of sheepskin over the noseband (it is a thinner piece so it
doesn't stick up as high as most do), and then I cut off the wire on the
bottom and replaced that with blue hay string, and then duct taped over the
chain. He's been riding in it that way for years. The duck tape and hay
string are getting frayed but I can't bear to change it since he's done so
many rides in it. Plus, I don't have anymore blue haystring and yellow
just will not match. :+P
