Cover the noseband in Vetwrap to make it soft. I used a fleece cover
over that for a while....makes it purty...but it's bulky and I was
always having to wash it and get the burrs out of it....thought it might
restrict Sunny's vision down a little, maybe...so now I just use
Vetwrap. The chin strap is normally a chain....I replaced that with
just a straight biothane strap. The chain rubbed a little when Sunny
was pulling on me early in the ride. The "Little S" will give you more
control than a sidepull.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I really like the "no bit" thing so it's easier for the horses to eat and drink. Have a side pull, but not sure if it will work on a ride with all the excitement at first.
