TO: USET Long Listed Endurance Riders

RE: 2001 Endurance Training Sessions

 

The U.S. Equestrian Team is pleased to offer Training Sessions to those Endurance Riders whose goal is to represent the United States in International competition. All sessions will be a combination of mounted instruction along with related topics such as equine nutrition etc. Exact details are being worked out - further information will be sent with your confirmation. In response to the Evaluation Forms that were distributed following last year’s Training Sessions, there will be less scheduled during each day so that riders can observe some of the other mounted sessions and have time to visit with each other.

Three sessions are planned - one on both the East and West Coasts and one in the Mid-West. Please note that all sessions are for THREE FULL DAYS. If you are unable to attend for the full three days, please indicate this clearly on the application.

Please complete the attached application and return it to the USET as soon as possible. It is expected that each session will be able to accommodate approximately 16 participants. In the case of over-subscription, the USET Endurance Committee will determine the participants.

There will be no cost to Long Listed riders other than your accommodations, if necessary, (and USET membership if you are not a current member). Auditors will be most welcome at a fee of $25 for current USET members or a $35 USET membership fee for those who are not current USET members. The auditing fee will cover all three days.
