Laura,   Wow, a couple of terrific posts;  thank you!!   This is what
ridecamp should be all about; with your experience as a farrier, vet
tech, married to a vet  and 1000's of endurance miles, you are a multiple
volume of information.  I, for one, appreciate your observations and
opinions.  renie,  aerc  no.1673. just a tad over 1000 miles.
