Absolutely.  Especially helpful for ponies and horses whose buddies get a
grain ration when they can't have any or very little...makes them think
they're getting their fair share!  :)  Some extra at mid day should not
necessarily mean you have to reduce am or pm amounts unless the pony is fat
and that is a concern.  I bet Susan will add her 2 cents yet.
