Did you all get that call to go donate blood on ridecamp, or was that just me? I couldn't tell if it was a ridecamp thing. If not, I'm passing the word along. We use blood , lots and lots of it in our cancer hospital here in Southern California. Much of our blood is shipped to us from different parts of the country. Often from the midwest. If they are needing it in New York or Washington, it could be coming from our supplies, or anywhere in the country. If you want to do something to help your country, you could contact your local donation center, at a Red Cross, or local hospital with a blood bank. Your blood may not go to New York, but it could replenish your communities supplies, when they take the stocks from your community to go there. Does that make sense? Beth Glover
