Rae: IMHO, you should continue giving your boarder's horses as much water as they want. A 5 gallon bucket is simply not enough water and it is a wonder these horses have not coliced with that kind of water restriction. Water is the source of life and gut mobility. Take a positive approach and gently educate your boarder about the need for lots of water.
