-------There are Arab rescues, and one here in Southern California, http://www.ahrn.org/.
Unfortunately, this group is no longer active, though the website is still up
and is certainly worth perusing. It illustrates the quality of horses who
had been rescued from feedlots during the years this group was in operation.
Meanwhile, I've received a lot of emails asking me for the correct url for
TIER and here it is:
http://www.tierrescue.org
I believe the woman who runs this rescue group does so in her free time (as
did the woman who ran the Arabian Rescue service) so it may take awhile
before you hear back from her....but keep trying.
There are just a few horses listed on the site. Some are actually at TIER
and are ready for adoption while others, specifically those on the 'Horses in
Need' page, are, at this moment, on feedlots awaiting their fate, hoping for
rescue. This page is often updated with new arrivals.
Good luck and thank you for all the emails.
You really are a bunch of kind, caring, wonderful folks.... :-)
