The sad thing is that none of the breed organizations have a rescue set up like they have for dogs. I know it is harder to deal with horses but there are a lot of good horses going to slaughter. Too bad there isn't some rescue resources for Arabs, it would help a little. Not in the truest sense as I got her from a guy who really hated her (deemed her 'unrideable') and was in the process of 'just getting rid of her'. I've no doubt, however, that she most likely would have ended up in a feed lot......and she's a wonderful, beautiful. really loving, little Arab mare. Kathy
