Remember, there are two sides to every story.  Before one makes any
judgement, ALL the facts need to be known. This sport has come a long way
since I started with it in the early 70s.  But one thing has remained
constant through out the years.  Ultimately it is the rider who is
responsible for his/her horse.  The vet and ride management cannot be behind
every step of the way on a ride whether it is competitive or endurance.  The
other thing that has remained constant is that sometimes things happen that
are totally out of one's control. Jeanie
