If the horse twists the hind hoof (counter clock-wise)
just prior to breakover, and the hock bows out...
You have a horse that's base narrow and bowlegged
behind.
You *will* have hock problems if the horse is
not shod correctly behind.
Incorrect shoeing can aggrevate the condition
by forcing break-over where the horse doesn't want it.
