I got a good one. Lady was interested in a horse my friend had, mare had
done several LD rides, price was $1500.
The lady kept the horse six months, and did several more LD rides on her.
When my friend pressed her then to buy the horse, the lady said she hadn't
had a chance to do a 50 on the horse, and didn't want to buy her until she
knew if she could do a 50!
(I pointed out to my friend that IF the horse had done a 50, she would be
worth more!) Then the buyer claimed her mare had damanged her horse trailer,
so she didn't want to pay full price.
My friend, who is far too trusting, finally sent her a contract with a firm
date....and the horse was sold.
