Potatoe Richardsons non-managed event!!

The WS 50 held this weekend by Potatoe Richardson was a complete screw-up.
Potatoe had no new markings on the trail,
no PR people setup at the vet checks, no night marking for riders crossing
the river, no night marking from no-hands
bridge to Auburn, the forestry service knew nothing of this event, there
were no sweep riders, and mangement was
non-existant. But the good news is Potatoe finished first, and there were
creps served for breakfast! This guy should
not be allowed to put on a ride ever again. He is more concerned with
winning than the health and well being of his
contestants. He rode out front the whole time without doing any flagging,
or even carrying any tape. Well 10 riders
 were lost going into Francisco, riders were not able to see the river
crossing so some had death defying experiences
and others could not make it at all and had hitch a ride back to Auburn to
get their rigs and bring their horses out
Driver Flat road, and of course Potatoes comment was "well they should
know the trail now". Anyone who want to
do this ride again please contact the AERC and urge them to have this ride
put on by someone else before Potatoe's
arrogance and laziness get someone or someone horse seriously injured.
