Just a reminder that the Gold Country Endurance ride is less than 2 weeks away.  This ride is held on the beautiful trails in the national forest outside of Georgetown, Ca.  Base camp is at Dru Barner Park and is easily accessible over paved roads.  The trail winds through tall pines, madrones, and oaks and you'll feel totally removed from civilization.  It's mostly single track with some forest road. Well marked and with plenty of volunteers, you and your horse will be well taken care of from start to finish.  This ride is put on by the Gold Country Endurance riders and some of the best endurance vets around will be here to work this ride.  Treat yourself and your horse, (plenty of bran mash hay and carrots at the checks) and sign up for this ride.
