Yup! With my youngsters I figure the first few times of trimming will not
be perfect - it really does make a difference to have a "stranger" mess
with the horse. I tell the farrier that I will pay him full amount but he
has to stop trimming at any time - or not even start trimming - if the
horse gets upset or becomes a problem. I'd rather have uneven feet for a
short while than have a problem for the rest of the horse's life.
